2019 Toyota Tundra Oil Change Interval

I just pulled up the maint schedule for my new 2017 Tundra which happens to be a FFV.

Oil filters are cheap compared to oil consumption internal issues. 1st oil change 1000 miles to remove any partials from break in 2nd oil change 3000 miles same reason All following oil changes 3-5000 mile intervals using Mobil 1 oil w dealer filters.

Has actually decreased the recommended intervals between oil changes to ensure smooth running. Replace engine oil and oil filter. Oil and filter changes should be scheduled every 7500-10000 miles or 12 months if using fully synthetic lubricants or every 3000-5000 miles or 6 months if filling with conventional oil.

Replace cabin air filter. But the maintenance manual still says 10000 unless its severe duty. For heavy towing I read somewhere that Toyota suggest changing oil every 2500 miles.

It says change the oil every 2500 miles if you do run E85. Any good modern oil is easily good for 5000 miles. Lots of oil threads.

Well tell you how to do it. Just got a 2019 57L FFV the service manual insert says first change at 25k I know it said 5k service after that but dont remember if it said to change oil every time. I think changing your synthetic oil every 2500 miles is a waste of money.
