2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Timing Marks
These marks serve as a Poka-yoke so that you cant get the marks lined up wrong.
2006 toyota tundra 4.7 timing marks. The passenger side turned 2 teeth clockwise and the drivers side turned almost 90 degrees. I have a 2006 toyota tundra 47 v8. The last chain is the main camcrank timing chain and is set up much like a timing belt.
I do see the timing mark on my R Cam but do not see any mark on L Cam. 2003 Tundra 47 timing belt gone wrong. I had two engines and both belts had jumped t.
The first two are for the exhaustintake camshaft timing. Maybe Im just tired. Updated Timing belt video for the Toyota 47 V8.
Not too hard to do. CARspec recommends you use the T marks. The crank has to be on TDC on compression stroke.

I read the several excellent posts around here and printed out the relevant sections of the manual. Have not seen a for sure timing belt marks with the covers off so here it is. Its a bit easier to see everything.
