I expect the brake discs are wornwarped and or the pads only way to tell is to strip down the front wheels etc check also for any movement in the wheel bearings top and bottom ball joints track rod joints as all these could cause a wobblevibration under braking if are worn etc. The vibration only lasts 15 seconds then stops.

I experienced severe vibration in the steering wheel while braking while on a 5-8 grade driving from Flagstaff to Phoenix towing a camping trailer approx 3200lbs welectric brakes. If I push on the brakes harder the vibration seems to disappear. As I recall it took quite awhile for anyone to recognize the issue during the early years of Tundra forums. If you feel it in your seat it is usually from a warped drum.
